

Rachel L.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Rachel is a licensed Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stanbridge University in 2024 and her BA in Kinesiology from Concordia University Irvine in 2022. Rachel is board certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT Cert #526791) and holds a license to practice in the State of California (Lic #27428).
During her time in graduate school, Rachel discovered her passion for the special needs population through her volunteer work and involvement with the Special Needs Ministry at Mariners Church. She has experience working primarily with children who have Autism, ADHD, and Developmental Delays.
Rachel is known for her patient and kind approach with everyone she works with. She is adaptable and has a gentle nature. She focuses on building trusting relationships with children and their families, utilizing play-based and evidence-based interventions to encourage independence, confidence, and joy in each child she serves. She also enjoys incorporating her hobbies, such as art and music, into her therapy sessions.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys watercolor painting, playing the ukulele, boogie boarding, surfing, snowboarding, and hiking. She is also a member of a jazz band where she plays the alto saxophone and clarinet.

Kimberly T.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Kimberly has been a licensed and registered occupational therapist since 2021. In her time as an occupational therapist, she has provided occupational therapy in various pediatric settings, including Early Intervention (0-3 years old), school-based special education, and clinic-based settings, working with children ranging from 0-21 years old. Kimberly has experience working with children with a variety of needs, including ASD, cerebral palsy, development delay, feeding difficulties, and Down Syndrome. She received her Advanced Practice Certification in Swallowing and Feeding (SWC).
She graduated with a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC). Additionally, she received two degrees from the University of California, Irvine - a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior and a BA in Education. Kimberly has always had a passion for working with children. She previously served as an Americorps member in JumpStart, which focused on preparing preschool children for kindergarten with language and literacy skills, and also in City Year, which provided mentorship and educational support for children in under-resourced schools and communities.
Kimberly enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, going to Disneyland, camping, hiking, taking care of her pets (dog and parakeets), and watching movies in her free time.

Nadine A.
CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Nadine has always enjoyed spending her time with children. Starting with babysitting and tutoring until she learned she could make an impact in a child's life by furthering their skills to maximize their potential as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. She has been working as a Pediatric COTA for more than 3 years now ranging from 0-21 years old with a wide range of varying diagnoses.
During her schooling, she became a ROP Certified Preschool Teacher's Assistant, tutored grades 5th and 6th, and joined the Best Buddies Club coordinating and assisting with sports activities and paper crafts for young adults diagnosed with Autism and Down Syndrome.
In 2017, she graduated from Santa Ana College with an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and she started working with the geriatric population in several skilled nursing facilities and hospitals in Orange County. Soon after, she found her dream job working with children and became Beckman Oral Motor Certified to evaluate and assist those who have oral motor difficulties.
Ms. Nadine demonstrates a FUNdamental desire to help children. She has a proven track record of implementing treatment plans that are tailored to a child's individual needs. She is a wonderful person with a positive energy and a great sense of humor. With traits like these, she is a pleasure to be around and makes her role for the kiddos look easy.
Nadine is often described as patient, creative, and adaptable. She enjoys singing, playing her ukulele and sewing colorful and unique clothing.

Kristine R.
CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Kristine has always worked with children, whether it was babysitting or working in a children’s art studio hosting birthday parties. She decided to make her love of children into a career.
Kristine graduated from California State University Northridge with a major in Child Development in 2016. She worked in early intervention for 2 years before returning to school to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with the goal of gaining more knowledge and skills in order to better help the children she works with. Since graduating from CBD College in 2020, Kristine has worked in pediatric clinics, home settings and schools, helping children with handwriting, ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental delays, and feeding difficulties.
She has training in sensory and reflex integration that help children with a variety of disabilities successfully engage in their ADL’s and everyday activities successfully.
Ms. Kristine's calm demeanor is a breath of fresh air for many of our kids. She is a quick thinker and can adapt to address each child's needs in the moment. Ms. Kristine’s patience allows her to work very well with our kiddos and creates an environment that is not overwhelming, but with understanding and care.
In her free time Kristine likes to paint, go to the gym or take long walks on the beach with her husband. Her favorite time of year is spring and summer because she gets more time to enjoy the sun after work and on the weekends.

Leslie V.

Leslie is the owner of KID FUNdamentals Therapy Center, Inc. Leslie has worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist ever since she was board certified and licensed. For over 11 years, she worked for one of the largest school districts in Southern California, providing school-based occupational therapy services to special education students. In addition, she also has years of experience working in outpatient pediatric therapy clinics in the Southern California area.
In her time working as an Pediatric Occupational Therapist, she has worked with a wide age range spanning from Early Intervention clients ages 0-3 and up to older children in their mid-teens. Leslie graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2007. In addition, she also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2006. Leslie is Board Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT Cert #236397) and is licensed to practice in the State of California (Lic #9792).
She has a Sensory Integration Praxis Test (SIPT) certification (Cert #3473), and is trained in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol and SOS Approach to Feeding. She has taken additional courses to further her knowledge to better serve the pediatric population - Handwriting Without Tears, The Alert Program, Zones of Regulation, and topics related to feeding, food aversions, Autism, ADHD/ADD, and sensory integration.

Leslie, or as most of her clients call her – “Ms. Leslie,” chose to become an Occupational Therapist in Pediatrics because of her passion for children. Throughout her college years, Ms. Leslie has had a wide breadth of internships that exposed her to numerous avenues of Occupational Therapy - physical rehabilitation, hand therapy, and mental health. It was until an internship that involved children was when she realized her calling to the pediatric field.

Going into private practice has been a path Leslie has always envisioned. Upon completing the requirements to become a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist, she first focused her energies in becoming a skilled clinician by gaining hands-on experience to provide quality care to those she serves. Now, with over a decade of experience in public schools and private clinics, Leslie brings depth needed to provide services in private practice.
In her free time, Ms. Leslie enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, trips to theme parks, event planning for family and friends, and is an avid foodie.
